HIPAA Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Compliance Specialist with HIPAA compliance experience to support its clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, document, and report results of Security Risk Assessments focused on HIPAA compliance
• Develop and maintain internal Policies & Procedures while promoting awareness and compliance
• Research legal and compliance changes regarding HIPAA, data privacy, and information security

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience enforcing HIPAA Privacy & Security compliance or equivalent expertise
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Experience working with highly sensitive data and maintaining confidentiality
• Broad-based knowledge of the managed care industry and compliance requirements
• Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies
