HIPAA Privacy Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Privacy Officer to oversee its enterprise-wide privacy program and support AI governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise-wide privacy compliance strategy and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Privacy Program
• Conduct risk-based auditing and monitoring activities to assess the effectiveness of the privacy program and manage privacy-related inquiries and incidents
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure comprehensive alignment in executing privacy obligations and monitor changes in privacy regulations

Required Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of relevant privacy or legal experience, including managing a privacy compliance program
• CIPP/US, CIPM, and/or CIPT certification required; CHC or CHPC certification is a plus
• Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, and other data privacy laws
• Experience addressing privacy considerations in AI/ML systems and embedding privacy-by-design principles into product development
• Proven track record in breach response and regulatory investigations
