HIPAA Privacy Program Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Privacy Program Manager to oversee privacy initiatives for a federal contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and administer the project's privacy program and implement policies to meet legal requirements
• Lead audits, risk assessments, and deliver privacy training in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Act as the primary privacy contact for incidents and oversee medical records requests and privacy complaints

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a healthcare setting focused on HIPAA privacy and Health Information Management
• Experience in developing and reviewing healthcare compliance policies and procedures
• Knowledge of federal and state HIM regulations
