HIPAA Security Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a HIPAA Security Program Manager to oversee compliance programs related to HIPAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain HIPAA compliance programs, including privacy and security rules
• Lead internal security audits, risk assessments, and HIPAA gap analyses
• Drive Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and manage remediation efforts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 8+ years of experience in security compliance, including HIPAA, IT audit, or risk management
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA security and privacy rules, CAP management, and compliance standards
• Experience working with third-party auditors and regulatory bodies
• Certifications such as CHP, CHPS, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or similar are a plus
