HL7 Integration Analyst
Job Summary
To support seamless data exchange in healthcare, the remote HL7 Integration Analyst will design, develop, implement, and test HL7 interfaces while serving as the primary technical resource for customer-facing integration activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, and deploy HL7 interfaces for integration with customer EMR/EHR systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document interface requirements and maintain detailed project documentation
- Provide post-go-live support, performing root-cause analysis and ensuring ongoing interface reliability
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on HL7 interface development and implementation experience
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech
- In-depth understanding of HL7 message structures and interface engine platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- HL7 certification (e.g., HL7 CDA, HL7 FHIR) is preferred
