HL7 Integration Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced HL7 Integration Engineer, the full-time position will design, develop, and troubleshoot healthcare interfaces, focusing on integrating complex systems using Mirth HL7 Engine and FHIR standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain HL7 interfaces for seamless data exchange between internal systems and external partners
• Lead integration projects involving claims and payment systems while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards
• Collaborate with IT, development, and clinical teams to document integration processes and support ongoing system maintenance

Required qualifications

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Mirth Connect or similar integration engines
• Proven experience in integrating healthcare systems, particularly with Global Payments and Trizetto
• Strong familiarity with current FHIR standards and healthcare interoperability practices
• Proficiency in a relevant programming language for healthcare integration (e.g., PHP, Java)
• Solid understanding of healthcare data workflows and compliance requirements
