HL7 Integration Engineer

Job Summary

To support the HealthCast Services team, the full-time remote HL7 Integration Engineer will deliver integrated solutions for client projects, focusing on HL7 data and system integration with Electronic Health Record systems, while managing interface work and collaborating with technical teams and hospital resources.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HL7 interface mapping efforts and facilitate technical conversations with customers to ensure successful integration of solutions
• Engage in Technical Workstream discussions, outlining requirements and managing diverse technical integrations
• Provide Level 2 technical support for deployed systems and assist with test plans and go-live execution strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in I.T. or Engineering field
• 5+ years of experience as an I/T professional with strong healthcare knowledge and experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) interfaces
• Practical experience with HL7 interfaces in hospitals, including ADTs, ORUs, and ORMs
• Healthcare IT experience as a vendor or hospital employee
