HL7 Interoperability Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for an HL7 Interoperability Architect for a remote position on a federal government project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain enterprise interoperability architectures leveraging HL7 standards
• Lead implementation of secure health data exchange solutions across various systems
• Ensure compliance with VA Technical Reference Model and federal security standards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8-10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years focused on healthcare interoperability
• Strong expertise in HL7 FHIR, CDA, C-CDA, and HL7 v2.x messaging standards
• Proven experience designing and implementing interoperability solutions within healthcare systems
• Strong understanding of system integration patterns and data exchange protocols
