HMDA Compliance Associate

Job Summary

Monitoring loan level compliance with Regulation C, the remote HMDA Compliance Associate will validate HMDA submission requirements, ensure accurate reporting, and assist with compliance testing and monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Scrub covered transactions to validate HMDA submission requirements and ensure accurate data entry in the reporting software
• Assist with the LAR submission process and collaborate with the Mortgage Compliance Risk Manager on compliance-related tasks
• Maintain knowledge of current mortgage and compliance laws, and complete additional compliance-related tasks as assigned

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• HMDA compliance experience or at least 1 year of recent experience in mortgage processing or a mortgage-related field preferred
• Familiarity with mortgage industry regulatory and TRID compliance requirements preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to seek out business-oriented solutions
