Hmong Interpreter

Job Summary

Providing remote audio and video interpretation services, the independent contractor Hmong Interpreter will facilitate communication for the Limited English Proficient community while adhering to professional standards and protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web-based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner to assist clients
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct

Required qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Hmong
• Proficient in using technology, including web-based platforms and Microsoft Word
• Access to a quiet and secure interpreting space
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications or training preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
