Job Summary

Offering a flexible work schedule, the remote Hmong Interpreter will provide professional interpreting services in healthcare settings through phone or Zoom, ensuring clear communication between Hmong and English speakers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete interpretation in medical, legal, and community settings
• Facilitate communication between healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders
• Maintain a high level of fidelity to the original communication while interpreting in both directions

Required qualifications

• Fluency in both Hmong and English
• Demonstrated experience in providing interpretation services
• Formal interpreter training and/or relevant professional experience
• Willingness to obtain required medical clearances and background checks
• Access to a reliable phone, computer, and stable high-speed internet connection
