Hogan Engineer

Job Summary

To support development and implementation efforts in a large-scale core banking environment, the contract Hogan Engineer will work remotely, focusing on Hogan Deposits and related applications while leveraging deep expertise across Hogan modules and mainframe development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements within the Hogan core banking platform
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions while executing code migrations and release implementations
• Support production issues, troubleshoot system failures, and monitor overnight batch processing and Hogan application workflows

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Hogan Core Banking applications
• Hands-on experience with Hogan modules such as Hogan CIS, Hogan Deposits, and Hogan CAMS
• Strong IBM Mainframe development experience utilizing COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and DB2 and/or IMS
• Experience implementing Hogan releases and major system enhancements
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills
