Home Based Donor Relations Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area

Job Summary

A nonprofit organization is seeking a Home Based Donor Relations Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Managing a portfolio of approximately 150 donors and prospects that research shows are qualified for $1,000 - $20,000 gifts
• Creating and implementing a comprehensive plan for each donor/prospect in the portfolio
• Directly soliciting major and planned gifts, and partnering with senior staff on donor engagement opportunities

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to travel to support relationships and events as required
• Two or more years of directly applicable professional experience in individual fundraising
• Strong ability to communicate persuasively, both verbally and in writing
• Experience in Project Management, including establishing project scope, timelines, and execution
• Experience with donor databases and research tools
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize activities, and be flexible in adjusting expectations as new developments occur
