Job Summary
A national insurance services provider is seeking a Home Based Medical Director.
Must be able to:
- Make medical necessity decisions and case management consultations
- Work with post-acute facilities and network managers
- Perform other clinical improvement projects
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in the health care delivery system e.g., clinical practice and health care industry
- Demonstrated appreciation of cultural diversity and sensitivity towards target populations
- Ability to work in a virtual environment with a dedicated team of nurses and medical directors
- Experience with skilled nursing post-acute care for Medicare population is highly desired
- The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a MD
- Medical/American Board of Internal Medicine is desiredMedical/American Academy Of Family Physicians is desired
