Job Summary
An American multinational technology and consulting corporation needs applicants for an opening for a Home Based Open Technology Project Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Leads team on complex projects or programs focusing on open source technology and community
- Works with the client to identify and translates customer requirements into formal agreements and plans to culminate in customer acceptance or results, or have acceptance in the targeted market, while meeting business objectives
- Creates cross functional teams for the management of a complex project environment with an emphasis on quality, productivity, and consistency
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 4 years experience in project management practices and principles
- At least 2 years experience in designing training and communication materials
- At least 2 years experience in understanding OpenStack or other open source contributions
- At least 5 years experience in leading formal and informal project teams
