A virtual academy has a current position open for a Remote Secondary Math Teacher in Las Vegas.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Directing the academic opportunities of every student in your class
• Managing and pacing multiple courses
• Engaging students in online coursework

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree
• Candidates possess a Nevada Teaching license
• Meet Highly Qualified status under NCLB for courses scheduled to be taught
• Possess excellent written communication skills
• Maintain command of theoretical knowledge of human behavior and learning including motivation, reinforcement, evaluation and feedback techniques
• Proficient in using email, managing files, recording and reporting grades electronically, and using computer applications including word processors and spreadsheets
