Job Summary
A private for-profit institution of higher education has a current position open for a Home Based Social Work Academic Program Director .
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing leadership for all social work programs in the School of Social Work and Human Services
- Working collaboratively with program faculty and university instructional experts to update and design curriculum
- Supervising all unit directors and coordinators
Qualifications for this position include:
- Earned doctorate in Social Work or a related field from an accredited university
- Earned masters of social work degree from a CSWE accredited program
- Minimum of three years of graduate teaching experience
- Significant record of intellectual and professional contributions to the field of social work
- Experience with providing distance education preferred with a required commitment to advocating for the learning and development needs of students earning their degrees in a distance learning environment including students who are experienced professionals
- Knowledge of and experience with CSWE accreditation processes and requirements
