Home Health Coding and OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare practice, the Per Diem Coding & OASIS Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and evaluate OASIS assessment items while working independently in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS assessments
• Educate clients on coding trends and OASIS guidelines through direct communication
• Maintain ongoing client communication to ensure satisfaction and participate in regular meetings

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operations or quality
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and compliance guidelines
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks remotely
