Home Health Coding and OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

To support accurate clinical documentation, the remote Per Diem Coding & OASIS Reviewer will review patient charts for home health coding and OASIS assessments, assign ICD-10 codes, and provide ongoing education and consultation to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS assessments
• Communicate with clients to educate them on coding trends and OASIS guidelines
• Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing education and participation in client meetings

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operations or quality
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and compliance guidelines
