Home Health Coding and OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

To support a growing Healthcare group, the Per Diem Coding & OASIS Reviewer will work remotely to accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and assess OASIS items while providing ongoing education and consulting to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS reviews
• Communicate with clients to educate on trends in coding and OASIS guidelines
• Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and stay updated on coding conventions

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of recent Home Health coding and OASIS operational and/or quality experience
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and compliance guidelines
