Home Health Coding and OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare practice, the remote Per Diem Coding & OASIS Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and assess OASIS items, while maintaining communication with clients and staying updated on coding guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS assessments
• Educate clients on trends found in the review process related to coding and OASIS guidelines
• Participate in ongoing communication and client meetings to ensure satisfaction and address concerns

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operations or quality
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and compliance guidelines
