Home Health Coding and OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a per diem basis, the Coding & OASIS Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and evaluate OASIS assessment items while maintaining ongoing communication with clients and ensuring adherence to coding guidelines.

Key responsibilities:

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS assessments
• Educate clients on trends found in the review process regarding coding and OASIS guidelines
• Stay updated on the latest ICD-10 coding and OASIS conventions through continuing education

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operations or quality
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and compliance guidelines
