Home Health Coding and OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a per diem basis, the Coding & OASIS Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and evaluate OASIS assessment items while maintaining communication with clients and ensuring adherence to coding guidelines.

Key responsibilities:

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS assessments
• Educate clients on trends found in the review process and maintain ongoing communication to ensure satisfaction
• Stay updated on ICD-10 coding and OASIS guidelines through continuous education and professional development

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of recent Home Health coding and OASIS operational and/or quality experience
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and compliance guidelines
