Home Health Coding and OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

To support a growing Healthcare group, the Per Diem Coding & OASIS Reviewer will remotely conduct accurate reviews of clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and evaluate OASIS assessment items while maintaining communication with clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Review patient charts for home health and hospice coding, including discharges and transfers
• Educate clients on coding trends and OASIS guidelines through direct communication
• Stay updated on ICD-10 coding and OASIS conventions, maintaining required certifications and continuing education

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of recent Home Health coding and OASIS operational and/or quality experience
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and compliance guidelines
