Home Health Coding and OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare practice, the Per Diem Coding & OASIS Reviewer will work remotely to accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and evaluate OASIS assessment items while providing ongoing education and consultation to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS assessments
• Communicate with clients to educate them on trends and ensure satisfaction through regular meetings
• Stay updated on ICD-10 coding and OASIS guidelines, maintaining required certifications and continuing education

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operations or quality
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and compliance guidelines
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
