Home Health Coding and OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a per diem basis, the Coding & OASIS Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and evaluate OASIS assessment items while maintaining communication with clients and staying updated on coding guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS review
• Communicate directly with clients to educate them on trends related to coding and OASIS guidelines
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and participate in client meetings

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent Home Health coding and OASIS operational and/or quality experience
• Certification in Home Health Coding required
• Certification in OASIS required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and compliance guidelines
