Home Health Coding and OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a per diem basis, the Coding & OASIS Reviewer will be responsible for accurately reviewing clinical documentation, assigning ICD-10 codes, and assessing OASIS items while maintaining ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS assessments
• Educate clients on trends found in the review process related to coding and OASIS guidelines
• Stay updated on the latest ICD-10 coding and OASIS conventions, maintaining professional certifications

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operations or quality
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and compliance guidelines
