Home Health Coding and OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a per diem basis, the Coding & OASIS Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and assess OASIS items while maintaining communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and compliance with coding guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS review
• Educate clients on trends found in the review process related to coding and OASIS guidelines
• Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and participation in client meetings

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operations or quality
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and compliance guidelines
