Home Health Coding and OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare practice, the Per Diem Coding & OASIS Reviewer will work remotely to accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and evaluate OASIS assessment items while maintaining ongoing client communication and education.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS review
• Communicate with clients to educate them on trends found in the review process related to coding and OASIS guidelines
• Stay updated on the latest ICD-10 coding and OASIS guidelines while maintaining required certifications and continuing education

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operational and/or quality roles
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and compliance guidelines
