Home Health Coding and OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Per Diem Coding & OASIS Reviewer, the position will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and evaluate OASIS assessment items while maintaining communication with clients and providing ongoing education.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS assessments
• Educate clients on trends found in the review process related to coding and OASIS guidelines
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and participate in client meetings

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operations or quality
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and compliance guidelines
