Home Health Coding & OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a per diem basis, the Coding & OASIS Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and assess OASIS items, while maintaining ongoing communication with clients and staying updated on coding guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS assessments
• Educate clients on trends found in the review process related to coding and OASIS guidelines
• Participate in client meetings to ensure satisfaction and maintain professional knowledge through continuing education

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operational and/or quality roles
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and compliance guidelines
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
