Home Health Coding & OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a per diem basis, the Coding & OASIS Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and evaluate OASIS assessment items while maintaining communication with clients and ensuring adherence to coding guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS review
• Communicate with clients to educate them on trends in coding and OASIS guidelines
• Stay updated on ICD-10 coding and OASIS guidelines through ongoing education

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operations or quality
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and compliance guidelines
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
