Home Health Coding & OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare practice, the remote Per Diem Coding & OASIS Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and evaluate OASIS assessment items while maintaining ongoing communication with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts for home health coding and OASIS assessments
• Educate clients on trends found in the review process regarding coding and OASIS guidelines
• Stay updated on ICD-10 coding and OASIS conventions through continuing education

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operational and/or quality roles
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and compliance guidelines
