Home Health Coding & OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

To support the Healthcare group, the Per Diem Coding & OASIS Reviewer will work remotely to accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and assess OASIS items while maintaining communication with clients and providing ongoing education.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS review
• Communicate with clients to educate them on trends found in the review process related to coding and OASIS guidelines
• Stay updated on the latest ICD-10 coding and OASIS guidelines and maintain required certifications

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent Home Health coding and OASIS operational and/or quality experience
• Certification in Home Health Coding required
• Certification in OASIS required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and compliance guidelines
