Home Health Coding & OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

Seeking a Per Diem Coding & OASIS Reviewer, this remote position will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and assess OASIS items, requiring independent work and ongoing client communication.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS assessments
• Educate clients on trends found during the review process regarding coding and OASIS guidelines
• Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and stay updated on ICD-10 and OASIS conventions

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent Home Health coding and OASIS operational and/or quality experience
• Certification in Home Health Coding required
• Certification in OASIS required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and compliance guidelines
