Home Health Coding & OASIS Reviewer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a per diem basis, the Coding & OASIS Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and evaluate OASIS assessment items while maintaining client communication and education on coding trends.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS review
• Communicate directly with clients to educate them on coding trends and OASIS guidelines
• Stay up to date on the latest ICD-10 coding and OASIS conventions through ongoing education

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operations or quality
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and compliance guidelines
