Home Health Reimbursement Coordinator

Job Summary

To ensure timely and accurate payment for healthcare services, the full-time remote Home Health Reimbursement Coordinator will manage claims processing, payment posting, and resolution of claims denials while overseeing the reimbursement process for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and verify billing information to generate clean claims and submit them to insurance companies
• Track pending claims and follow up with payers to determine claim status and resolve discrepancies
• Perform collection follow-up on claims and patient balances, escalating issues as necessary

Required qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Home Health billing/reimbursement experience
• Experience with EPIC EMR
