Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Home Infusion Billing Specialist will process medical claims with a focus on accuracy and timeliness, aiming to reduce denial rates and improve revenue cycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Create and submit medical, pharmacy, and third-party vendor claims accurately and on time
• Resolve rejected electronic claims to ensure successful future submissions
• Document case activity and contribute to training programs to enhance the efficiency of the revenue cycle management team

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of home infusion billing and/or collections experience
• High School Diploma with specialized training in intake, pharmacy/medical billing, and/or collections
• Proven understanding of billing processes and systems across various payer types
• Experience in an infusion suite setting is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records of activities
