Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance revenue collection efforts, the full-time Home Infusion Billing Specialist will manage the collection of Home Infusion claims remotely, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up to reduce denial rates and bad debt.

Key responsibilities:

• Review outstanding claims and follow up with insurers and patients to collect revenues, fostering strong customer relationships
• Analyze denials and recommend process improvements to enhance collection rates and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO)
• Document case activity and communicate effectively with team members regarding the status of collections and payer issues

Required qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in home infusion billing and/or collections
• High School Diploma with specialized training in intake, pharmacy/medical billing, and/or collections
• Proven understanding of billing and collection processes across various payer types
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records of activities and documentation
• Experience working in a remote environment is a plus
