Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance revenue cycle efficiency, the full-time Home Infusion Billing Specialist will manage the collection of Home Infusion claims remotely, focusing on accuracy, timely follow-ups, and adherence to processes to minimize denial rates and bad debt.

Key responsibilities:

• Review outstanding claims and follow up with insurers and patients to ensure successful revenue collection
• Analyze denial trends and recommend process improvements to enhance collection rates and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO)
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and document all case activities to maintain accurate account records

Required qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in home infusion billing and/or collections
• High School Diploma with specialized training in pharmacy/medical billing and/or collections
• Proven understanding of billing processes and systems for various payer types
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain clear records of activities
• Proficient in MS Office suite and relevant pharmacy applications
