Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Home Infusion Billing Specialist will manage the collection of Home Infusion claims, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while reducing denial rates and bad debt through effective communication and process improvement.

Key responsibilities:

• Review outstanding claims and follow up with insurers and patients to successfully collect revenues
• Analyze denial trends and recommend process improvements to enhance collection rates and reduce DSO
• Document case activity and communicate effectively with internal departments and franchise partners regarding collection statuses

Required qualifications:

• 2-5 years of home infusion billing and/or collections experience
• High School Diploma with additional specialized training in pharmacy/medical billing and/or collections
• Proven understanding of billing processes and techniques for various payer types
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain clear records of activities and documentation
• Experience in a remote work environment is a plus
