Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance revenue cycle efficiency, the full-time Home Infusion Billing Specialist will manage the collection of home infusion claims remotely, focusing on accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to processes to reduce denial rates and bad debt.

Key responsibilities:

• Review outstanding claims and follow up with insurers and patients to ensure timely collection of revenues
• Analyze denials, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance collection rates and reduce DSO
• Document all case activities and communications to maintain accurate records of account activity and outstanding claims issues

Required qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in home infusion billing and/or collections
• High School Diploma with additional specialized training in pharmacy/medical billing and/or collections
• Proven understanding of billing processes and techniques for various payer types
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain clear and complete records
• Experience working in a remote environment is preferred
