Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support revenue cycle operations, the full-time Home Infusion Billing Specialist will manage the collection of claims, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while reducing denial rates and bad debt in a 100% remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Review outstanding claims and follow up with insurers and patients to collect revenues, utilizing Payer Portals for claim disposition
• Analyze denial trends and recommend process improvements to enhance collection rates and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO)
• Document all case activities and communications in the system to maintain accurate records and schedule necessary follow-ups

Required qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in home infusion billing and/or collections
• High School Diploma with specialized training in intake, pharmacy/medical billing, and/or collections
• Proven understanding of billing processes and systems across various payer types
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain clear records of activities
• Experience working in a remote environment is preferred
