Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle, the full-time Home Infusion Billing Specialist will manage the collection of Home Infusion claims remotely, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while reducing denial rates and bad debt.

Key responsibilities:

• Review outstanding claims and follow up with insurers and patients to ensure successful revenue collection
• Analyze denial trends and recommend process improvements to enhance collection rates and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO)
• Document case activities and communications to maintain accurate records and resolve outstanding claims issues efficiently

Required qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in home infusion billing and/or collections
• High School Diploma with specialized training in pharmacy/medical billing and collections
• Proven understanding of billing processes and systems for various payer types
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain clear records of activities
• Experience working in a remote environment is preferred
