Job Summary
A company is looking for an Infusion Center Intake Coordinator to support their Specialty Infusion Pharmacy remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new referrals, including verifying patient eligibility and coordinating benefits
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on payer authorization requests
- Communicate with patients and referral sources regarding referral status and coverage updates
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy and/or medical intake/reimbursement experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel & Word
