Job Summary

A company is looking for a Home Medical Equipment Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with product selection and training for home medical equipment according to provider prescriptions
• Gather and process registration and insurance information for payment, ensuring compliance with payer requirements
• Maintain store inventory and assist patients with various durable medical equipment and supplies

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior customer service, sales, healthcare, or patient care experience preferred
• Ability to learn technical tasks and follow written and verbal directions
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and/or private insurance billing preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and tolerate a fast-paced environment
