Home State Licensed Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Analyzing complex liability claims, the full-time Home State Licensed Claims Examiner will adjudicate auto and general liability claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and gather information to determine claim exposure and process claims to timely resolution
• Negotiate claim settlements within designated authority
• Report claims to excess carriers and respond to inquiries professionally and promptly

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Experience handling auto and general liability claims, including non-litigation and litigation bodily injury
• Knowledge of jurisdictional requirements across all US states
• Home State licensing preferred
