Job Summary

A company is looking for a Faculty Memeber for Homeland Security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses within the homeland security discipline
  • Manage course activities, including communication with students, facilitating discussion boards, and providing feedback on student submissions
  • Assist with curriculum maintenance, resolve academic integrity concerns, and participate in faculty development opportunities
Qualifications:
  • Possess a terminal degree (PhD) in homeland security or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in homeland security, or a master's degree in homeland security with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in homeland security
  • Experience teaching at the college/university level
  • Knowledge of English language, academic processes, clerical tasks, basic computer processes, and basic mathematics
  • Skills in critical thinking, reading comprehension, research, interpersonal communication, and time management
  • Abilities in written and oral comprehension and expression, as well as selective attention
