Hospital Billing Analyst
Job Summary
To ensure the financial accuracy and integrity of Hospital Billing data, the contract Hospital Billing Analyst will validate data conversions and transaction processing during parallel testing activities in a remote capacity for an initial duration of 13 months.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Accounting, and project teams to reconcile control totals and investigate variances
- Perform account-level and aggregate financial reconciliations across various reporting categories
- Ensure consistency between production and test environments prior to go-live
Required qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of HAR structure and account management
- Experience with UBREV and hospital revenue reporting
- Familiarity with transaction posting workflows and payment processing
- Knowledge of Epic reporting and reconciliation processes
- Understanding of provider, payor, and facility reporting structures
