Hospital Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Services Specialist (Hospital Billing) to handle billing and collections for hospital accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize the Epic Hospital Billing System to manage accounts and ensure timely billing and collections
• Contact insurance carriers to resolve payment issues and manage complex accounts
• Document all actions taken and escalate problem accounts to management as necessary

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least five (5) years of accounts receivable experience
• Experience in Revenue Cycle Accounts Receivable preferred
• Working knowledge of EPIC Hospital Billing system
• Completion of necessary training sessions related to Hospital Billing
